The Southern California Network for Peacebuilding (SCNP) fosters the collaboration of peace education and practice. In 2014, the SCNP was formed during UC Irvine's annual Peace in Action Summit. Since then, the SCNP has been coordinating knowledge and resource sharing to enhance the efforts of all our programs on and off campuses.

Conversation on Conflict and Dialogue

A rare chance for university students from Abkhazia and Georgia in the South Caucasus to meet with each other across their post Soviet communities divided by war, and to learn about US university life and to meet with students, faculty, staff at UCI and the broader community. Participants from each community will discuss their perspectives on their conflict and prospects for resolution, to be followed by a discussion with the audience.
